Schoolgirls League Round-Up

The Under Twelve division kicked off on Wednesday night when Courtown Hibs entertained Arklow Town, playing out a 2-2 draw with Holly Merrigan scoring both goals for Hibs. On Saturday New Ross Town hosted Kilkenny United and Libby Rossiter enjoyed a great day as she knocked in 4 for the home side. Sarah O Leary was also on target for Town. In the other match played on Saturday Bridge Rovers proved too strong for near neighbours Curracloe United, running out comfortable 5-0 winners.

In the Under Fifteen section, Curracloe overcame New Ross Celtic 4-2 while on Friday evening, Aughrim Rangers overcame Coolboy Rangers 3-2 in their local derby. Jessie Martin and Ella Ford scored for Coolboy while Charlotte Doyle, Bea Clancy and Ava Stapleton scored for the winners. On Saturday morning, Two goals from Sophie Doyle and one from Layla El Quahabi saw Rosslare Rangers overcome Corach Ramblers 3-2 with Laura McCarthy scoring both goals for Corach.
