Curracloe and Bridge Rovers wrap up Summer tournament

The Wexford Schoolgirls Summer competitions reached their completion this weekend with Curracloe United and Bridge Rovers claiming the final titles, the former doing it twice.

On Friday evening, Curracloe travelled to Terrarath to take on Cushiinstown in the Under Fifteen league final and while Cushinstown defended well, they were unable for the firepower of the seasiders and Polly Redmond in particular. Polly enjoyed a player of the match performance as she put the home teams defence under pressure from the start and ended scoring a personal tally of four goals with Alexa Clancy also scoring. Cushinstown did produce chances of their own but could not break down the well organised Curracloe defence.
